About Mateo

Mateo designs the systems that sit around our models — the ingestion paths, the review interfaces, the integration points into whatever case management or core platform a client already runs. He joined NeuroSkill in 2021 from a decade in enterprise integration, and his standing argument inside the practice is that most AI projects fail on plumbing rather than on modelling.

He led the architecture on the Atlas Underwriting document intelligence pipeline and the Meridian Health clinical documentation assistant, and he runs our internal review board for anything that touches regulated data. He is based in London and works with clients across the UK, Ireland and the Nordics.

How Mateo works

Mateo starts every engagement in the client's own systems rather than in a design document — reading the schemas, tracing where records actually come from, and finding out who currently makes the decision the model is meant to support.
